This has become one of the most popular trips of all. From Numazu, we travel through the ever-changing scenery of Western Izu, heading south towards Irozaki located at the southernmost tip of the peninsula. After gaining 2,000 meters in altitude, you will no doubt feel a great sense of achievement. What makes the Izu region interesting is the close proximity of the sea to the mountains, forming an aesthetic harmony of natural beauty. Japan has immense coastlines offering an array of fantastic opportunities for road cyclists. Izu Peninsula is definitely the way to go!
